One Thing I Learned Today: Just Start
Welcome to my corner of the internet! π
Who Am I?
I’m a 20-something navigating the chaos of corporate America, working in sales, and trying to figure out what I might actually want to do with my life. I live in a quaint but lively town (not sure I feel comfortable disclosing where just yet), spend my free time volunteering to create a space for like-minded young professionals to grow, and attempt to balance ambition with fun.
Right now, my hobbies are a bit all over the place:
π Learning how to give myself gel mani-pedis
π₯ Trying out boxing (technically my second try, but I swear I'm committed this time)
π Maybe(?) getting back into reading
π Spending weekends searching for bars where you can actually dance until I wake up Monday morning and do it all over again...
Lost, but Moving Forward
Some days, I feel like I have it together. Other days, I realize I’m just making it up as I go. Sound familiar?
So, I’m starting this blog—starting with one thing I learn each day. It might be about career, friendships, money, personal growth, or just a random life hack that blew my mind. We’ll see where it takes me.
Lesson #1: Just Start
I’ve been sitting on the idea of this blog for a while. Overthinking. Doubting. Wondering if anyone will care. But today, I learned something important: You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.
Did I first hear this today? Honestly, no. But today I decided to listen. And that's more meaningful than ever.
πDon’t wait for the perfect timing.
πDon’t let fear of failure stop you.
π Just take the first step.
No one is instantly great at something. Every expert was once a beginner. Every successful person started somewhere. And this? This is my start.
What’s Next?
I’ll be here, sharing my lessons, one post at a time. If you’re also figuring things out, stick around. Let’s learn together.
π¬ What’s something you’ve been holding off on starting? Drop it in the comments!
